MASSIMO

MASSIMO DEICAS TANNAT

A tribute to Uruguay’s first immigrant, Massimo Deicas, and to all those who helped forge the country. This was the first Tannat in Uruguay made using the artisanal “Cru de Garage” techniques from Bordeaux. The inaugural vintage, with a limited production of just 3,000 bottles, became a true enological gem, blending Uruguayan tradition with the innovative methods of the renowned French region.

30% aged in stainless steel, 30% in clay amphorae, 20% in new French oak barrels, 20% in first-use barrels. Deep, dark red with vibrant violet hues that persist over time, a sign of its aging potential.
Intense and refined, this aged Tannat displays complex aromas of black fruits, fruit preserves, and licorice, elegantly interwoven with delicate oak notes. Powerful and generous, with great volume and length on the palate. Its coastal origin lends a vibrant freshness that ensures a slow and noble aging.
