Project Description

Atlántico sur

Atlántico Sur
Cabernet Sauvignon

A line that highlights the signature of the ocean and sea on Uruguayan vineyards. Each wine is crafted from a single grape variety sourced from coastal vineyards across the country. Whether from the Atlantic Ocean or the Río de la Plata estuary, the grapes are grown in vineyards generally located less than 30 km from the coast, thus fully benefiting from its maritime influence. The Atlántico Sur varietal wines reveal each grape’s identity as shaped by the sea’s saline freshness. From this meeting, pure, refreshing, and enticing wines are born. Atlantic Wines of Uruguay.

Cabernet Sauvignon Maldonado, Canelones, San José, and El Carmen, Uruguay
10-day maceration in stainless steel tanks. Ruby red with great brightness and long, elegant tears.
On the first nose, smoky notes emerge along with fresh aromas of green and red bell peppers. With aeration, the bouquet unfolds sweet red fruits, spices, mushrooms, and juniper. The attack is fresh, supported by the variety’s characteristic acidity. The wine then evolves with great complexity, showing no astringency, and finishes warm and polished.

Best served between 16°C and 18°C.
