PRELUDIO

Preludio was born in 1992, and five years later it was recognized as the only wine outside France and Italy to be awarded the Grand Gold Medal at Vinitaly. It reflects the aging potential of Uruguayan wines. A blend of the finest barrels in the winery, aged for 24 months in the Preludio cellar—built in stone by the Jesuits in 1745—it is then bottled and aged for an additional 3 years before being released to the market.
